Katja Lehto-Komulainen to lead FinUnions

FinUnions Katja Lehto-Komulainen

Katja Lehto-Komulainen, LL.M. has been appointed Director of the FinUnions bureau in Brussels for a fixed term of office with effect from 1 September.

FinUnions is the joint representation and lobbying mission in Brussels for the Finnish employee confederations SAK and STTK, and the joint professional and managerial staff negotiating organisation YTN.

Katja Lehto-Komulainen is currently Deputy General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC).

FinUnions is responsible for lobbying on behalf of Finnish employees in Brussels and for reporting on European Union decision-making processes that affect the world of work. The organisation represents the interests of some 1.7 million members of Finnish trade unions.

The term of office of the current FinUnions Director Aleksi Kuusisto expires at the end of August.
