The average age of a member of the STTK affiliated unions is 46.4 years. Women represent 70 % of the membership and men 30 %. These figures are based on the STTK Barometer of White Collar Workers of 2009.
Average salary:
The average salary of the STTK member is some 2700 euros per month. The STTK affiliated unions negotiate and sign 250 collective agreements on the terms and conditions of work, and the minimum salaries and wages for the various sectors are stipulated in these agreements. Statistical information on wages and salaries in the various sectors and professions can be found on the websites of the individual unions.
