By writing one or more words in the search box you can freely search STTK's web pages. The search produces links to all the sides where the word or word combination you are looking for appears.
You can use an asterisk(*) as a wildcard which stands for one or more characters at the end of a word to search for all the variants on the word stem. So therefore, employ* will also look for employee and employer, etc. This is also useful if you are not quite sure of the spelling or inflection of the word you are seeking. By writing the word “unioni*”, for example, you will find matches for “unionised” and “unionized”. There should be at least three characters before the asterisk or the search will not work.
It is worth writing the combination of words inside quotation marks, for example “union employee”. In this way you will find the pages where the combination of words is found in the order that you wrote them.
You will obtain more results by using a couple of words than just using one word. When you work in this way the search will produce all the results with pages where the given words appear.
Search strings are not case sensitive. “SMKJ” and “smkj” mean the same thing.
Check the spelling of the words if you fail to get results. Try using words that are related to the subject matter of your search or synonyms. The search does not extend to the pages of attachments.
The search can also find results on pages where the word you are seeking does not appear in the visible text. In that case the word has been given a special meaning within the page's metatext.
